Riley County 4-H Exchange 2019
Happy New Year to all of our 4-Hers and parents,
As many of you know, in 2018 Riley County 4-Hers started working towards an exchange trip, ultimately journeying to Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota last June. Currently the group is working with 4-H leaders from Pennsylvania to host a delegation of their 4-Hers in Manhattan this coming summer. We are now officially recruiting new exchange members, 4-H age 12-18 that would be interested in joining this adventure for the coming summer and beyond
Please consider this unique opportunity to meet 4-Hers from other parts of the U.S., but also to experience different cultures and spaces across the map. To learn more about this opportunity you can contact Mrs. Trieb by calling or texting 785-844-0781.
Attached please find Application to participate in the 4-H TRIPle E Excellent Exchange Experience + the Code of Conduct that must be signed by 4-Her and parents. Application forms have been received from Pennsylvania, so as soon as we receive your application, we will begin the pairing process.
The next fundraiser for the group is this evening (1-3-19) from 5-8 PM at the Pizza Ranch in Manhattan if you want to stop by and find out more about this opportunity.
